A few facts:

• It was founded in 1916 by a group of reformers, including a philanthropist Robert Brookings
• There are about 300 experts in different fields
• The Institute participated in the establishment of the United Nations, the development of the Marshall plan, a series of policies and reforms that were introduced in the United States
• It often publishes articles about Ukraine, in particular because there work former diplomats – the Ambassador of the USA in Ukraine in 1998 – 2000 Steven Pifer.
