COVID-19 Response in the Eastern partnership region: Emergency measures and civic freedoms

It is no secret that governments are taking emergency measures due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although these measures are intended to save lives, they also affect civil society and fundamental freedoms. The SCO Meter initiative explored how laws and practices affect civil liberties in the Eastern Partnership countries. This paper summarizes the study and focuses on the response of civil society organizations to government action. The results can be found at the link.
