On 29th October 2020 the fourth Germany breakfast in Kyiv was held. What is the Ukrainian-German cooperation in the opinion of the Bundestag and the Verkhovna Rada? This was discussed during the breakfast! Institut für Europäische Politik, in close cooperation with the New Europe Center, organized the event to discuss issues of interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Our speakers Anka Feldhusen, the Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, Omid Nouripour, Chairman of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine, and Halyna Yanchenko, Co-Chair of the Group for Interparliamentary Relations with Germany, shared their thoughts and ideas.

During the event we discussed the priorities of cooperation between Germany and Ukraine, ways to expand this cooperation, the role of historical issues in relations between the two countries, reforms in Ukraine and much more.
